The website Rijksoverheid.nl, which is a gateway to all Ministries (departments) of the Dutch Central Government, has yesterday from 17.45 till after midnight been unavailable because of a computer-attack.
The website was down because of an extensive DDOS-attack 'from remote countries' according to Fred Steinweg, a spokesman from the 'Rijksvoorlichtingsdienst' (= Government Information service).
