Police have detained a 22-year-old hacker who created a system of networked computers that was used to steal more than 150 million rubles ($4.47 million) from people's bank accounts , making him one of the most wanted hacker in the world. But now, "Hermes", who had infected over six million computers and earned around 5 million francs, was caught in Russia.

This is especially interesting in that most botnet operators never target users within Russia or Ukraine. This guy must be perceived as a particularly stupid person for doing so, practically begging to be prosecuted.
