Krebs quoted the FBI: “Some victims have been lured to Nigeria, where they have been imprisoned against their will along with losing large sums of money...."

... they have been imprisoned against their will ... ? I was unaware that people would travel to Nigeria seeking to be imprisoned. Are prison cells a thrifty alternative to the Lagos Hilton?

Given the intelligence level of some of the people who respond to 419 scammers, I wouldn't put it past some of them to allow themselves to be imprisoned if they thought it was part of the plan to get their cash. :roll:
