Is there anything they CAN do right?

Obviously they have seen your "complaint"; the blogspot.com link now automatically redirects to bestdrugsfirst.com

Huh. AND they removed the "flag blog" visibility.

I'm re-reporting this to blogger. They have got to do better at shutting this down.

I actually don't get the redirect you're seeing, and in IE there is no link whatsoever.

Yup. That's what I've consistently gotten. :)

Just boggles the mind the lengths this spammer will go to, only to still fail to link properly.

This moron not only forgot the link, but also appears to have identified the sponsor:

Code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; charset=3D=
windows-1251">
<META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.2720.1081" name=3DGENERATOR>
<STYLE></STYLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff>
<P><A href=3D"   <TITLE>spamit.biz</TITLE>">purchase today the best =
pharma. Our goal is very simple, help you find the very Best deals on =
the prescription drugs you want. Click here and get what you =
want.</A></P>
</BODY></HTML>

Spamit.biz is parked. Spamit is also believed to be the more shadowy sponsor related to Glavmed, responsible for Canadian Pharmacy spam.

Nice work!

If you search that clumsy phrase "purchase today the best pharma" you can find pages and pages of comment spam, often forgetting to include a URL:
http://phlog.net/friends.php?user=uno&first=120&num=20

And the links I can find that are still alive redirect to our old friend placepharmsleads.com (today loading European Pharmacy through a proxy), as well as adasterrose.com (Euro Softwares) and an assortment of other CPh sites, like droolvital.com.

Wow business must really suck for this guy. :) I'm up to 23 of these just today, all placing part of another html tag within the href tag. Not a single one features any kind of link.

I'm glad we have such a huge brain behind the wheel of this campaign.

This is the exact content of the spam:
Quote:

- Get your new watch for half price today

Visit us: http://|dohetyk/

These guys must have heard there was a competition!

He's not only managed to obfuscate the URL in a way the recipient probably won't figure out, he's done nothing to prevent spam filters from recognizing it. :roll:

I just realized with my 60th received message from this genius that he's mistakenly placed the following as the URL for all of the last 30 messages for Canadian Pharmacy:

Code:
<META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">

:roll:

Awesome.
