Previous attacks were on March 31, April 4 .. dress rehearsals for the forthcoming election perhaps.

And where are the bots located that were used for that DDoS? My impression is the Russian DDoSers avoid zombifying computers in their own country. If other countries got more serious about cleaning up their own networks, the Russian government couldn't exploit them to control access to websites so easily.
