Dutch Rabobank reported on May 2nd that it's internet-banking site has been the target of a DDOS-attack. Access to internet-banking was severely limited for about 24 hours. Last February a cyber-attack at rabobank.nl, as well as arson at Rabo's headquarters were claimed by a group that called itself 'Conspiracy Cells of Fire', but that claim was dismissed by Dutch Intelligence.

Odd reported attack in my opinion. I don't recall banks themselves being a target of DDoS as often as more high profile financial transaction sites such as PayPal or some such. It could be banking website attacks are largely underreported due the nature of their business.
