3 times a year may be a little much.....then again, I don't know how long it takes for stuff to actually get "updated" on the reports.....I'd venture to say even once a year is good enough.....and here in the US. we have the annual credit report law that was passed a couple years back that allows anyone to receive their credit report, annual, for free. I think it all it takes is a name address and SSN....

Im not quite sure...I was under the impression nobody has "credit" until they get their first credit card or open their first bank account.....so surely, if a parent were to open even a savings account, that would suffice to generate that "credit".
